Regional Historical Museum
The Regional History Museum dates back to the city's Archaeological Society, founded in 1903, which creates its own collection of objects, the first of which were discovered during excavations at the Storgozia Fortress. In 1923 the collection was exhibited in the building of the community center "Saglasie", and in 1953 the museum became an independent institution. In 1984, it was relocated to its current building to commemorate the "1300th Anniversary of the Bulgarian State".
