Skobelev Park
Skobelev Park in Pleven was established in 1904 by the Tsar Liberator Alexander II Committee to commemorate the Russian heroes who died in the fighting on August 30, 1877.

He and the Dead Valley are listed under Nos. 4 and 170, respectively, in the list of historical monuments from the Russo-Turkish War of 1877/78. They are protected by the Monuments of Culture and Museums Act, which has been amended and supplemented for 35 years. Repeatedly, but without change, affecting the two Pleven areas.
